Nicholas X. Parsons is an American actor and documentary filmmaker. He grew up in Chesapeake, Virginia. During high school he attended The Governor's School for the Arts and studied Theater for 4 years under the direction of Michael S. Tick. He is also a graduate from George Mason University, receiving a B.A. in Acting.

Upon graduation, Nicholas began a 1 year study of 'The Michael Chekhov Technique' under the tutelage of Yuri Kordonsky (current professor of directing at the Yale School of Drama), and had the privilege of being directed by him in one of his first U.S. productions: 'Antigone', at the now defunct Classika Theatre. From this experience and discovering a different approach to his craft, Nicholas was encouraged to pursue a career path towards his original dream to work in film and television.
