片中主演Mr.Brown的Barry Evans是個(gè)生下來(lái)就被遺棄了的孤兒,這個(gè)70年代的頗有天賦的英國情景劇演員在經(jīng)歷了其演繹鼎盛期過(guò)后由于找不到合適的角色而淡出銀幕,以開(kāi)出租車(chē)維生. 在1997年2月11日被警方發(fā)現死于自己寓所的沙發(fā)上.享年52歲.
官方的驗尸報告聲稱(chēng)Barry死于酒精中毒,而人們更愿意相信的是他死于謀殺,因為一名驗尸官發(fā)現其頭部存在明顯的被尖銳物品擊中的痕跡,很有可能是致命傷. 其家中的電話(huà)線(xiàn)也被掐斷,并且有貴重物品遺失.
可是隨后警方停下了對此案的調查,所以Barry的死因至今是個(gè)迷.
(關(guān)于Barry Evans網(wǎng)上的記載并不多,不過(guò)運氣夠好搜到老外建的網(wǎng)站上關(guān)于他生平以及死因調查的記載,卻也僅此而已. 連續好幾小時(shí)試圖能搜到一些他的照片,可是出來(lái)的都是劇照或者電影海報,就連這些都很稀少,更別提其40-52歲期間的照片了...太傷心了)
二、角色介紹。
這部70年代的sitcom(即:情景喜劇)體現了可愛(ài)的英式冷幽默.
在Youtube上只找到了26集,(按理說(shuō)網(wǎng)上應該找得到29集)有點(diǎn)遺憾但是也夠運氣了.
片中人物各有特色,作為一個(gè)始終無(wú)法克服主觀(guān)臆斷的渺小個(gè)體,下面的描述我將盡量避免帶入太多個(gè)人感情色彩以求公正.
而后面的對話(huà)片段由于本人英語(yǔ)水平有限,又沒(méi)有字幕,在各國惡劣口音的英語(yǔ)共存的條件下,聽(tīng)錯或者聽(tīng)的不準確是在所難免的,請同學(xué)們見(jiàn)諒了.
首先是偶家可愛(ài)英俊又有點(diǎn)傻的倒霉蛋English teacher,Mr.Brown.
極其溫柔極其可愛(ài)極其英倫極其有風(fēng)度極其抗打擊極其有耐心極其的極其的極其的一切好的形容詞!
然后是被Mr.Brown認為是兇猛又邪惡的Dragon的女校長(cháng)Miss Courtney,她老是欺負偶家的Brown. 另外,60左右的她還未婚,覺(jué)得女人是比男人高級的存在.
學(xué)校茶水室的老奶奶Gladys長(cháng)得特可愛(ài),負責向學(xué)生以及教工提供茶水.
而耳朵不好使說(shuō)話(huà)又含糊不清還酗酒的糊涂老頭Sid是學(xué)校的清潔工.
再來(lái)介紹一下來(lái)自不同國家的活寶學(xué)生們:
法國的性感女郎Danielle的名言是: At night,we make love.
意大利的Giovanni激動(dòng)或者感覺(jué)意外時(shí)的口頭禪是：桑特瑪麗亞!(音譯,原意應該是發(fā)音不標準的 圣·瑪麗亞!) 在離別場(chǎng)合以及聽(tīng)到感人故事時(shí)英俊挺拔的他總會(huì )在眾人驚訝的目光中拿領(lǐng)帶擦眼淚.
希臘的Maximillian在課堂上每次被問(wèn)到想談什么話(huà)題時(shí)總是滿(mǎn)臉期待地說(shuō):girls!
他和Giovanni這倆活寶總是跟在Danielle屁股后頭,一個(gè)說(shuō):hey,you sit with me.另一個(gè)氣憤的瞪大眼睛說(shuō): no! she sit with me!然后就開(kāi)始摟袖子準備干架. 不過(guò)最終臭味相投的他們成了好朋友(或者狐朋狗友).
來(lái)自中國的Su-lee(女)總是主席語(yǔ)錄不離手,隨時(shí)準備高舉紅寶書(shū)一臉嚴肅激憤地向西方列強們宣傳主席口中的真理,其口頭禪當然就是: Chairman Mao said *&%&^%$$##@$%%^#@!@!
日本的一臉和氣的老年朋友Taro回答問(wèn)題之前總是站起來(lái)禮貌的說(shuō):Asso!然后鞠躬. 脖子上常年掛著(zhù)一個(gè)黑色相機,談到日本就說(shuō)個(gè)不停: Japan mako besto camero ando besto telivisiono ..$%^&^##@$%.ando besto everthing! (日本制造最好的相機最好的電視...,日本的東西是最好的!)
巴基斯坦的Ali和印度的Ranjeet由于國家和宗教原因總是爭吵和打架,Ali叫Ranjeet為monkey face,而他在Ranjeet口中則成了stupid muslim.兩人都是一臉的老奸巨猾.Ranjeet尤甚.
東德的Anna善良又力大無(wú)比,每當坐在她旁邊的Max想調戲她時(shí)回以重力一擊(用手肘).
印度的Jamila(女)每時(shí)每刻都在織毛衣,剛來(lái)的時(shí)候連good都不會(huì )說(shuō).在偶家Brown的教導下最后終于能正常交流了.
西班牙的大胡子Juan聽(tīng)不懂別人的話(huà)時(shí)老說(shuō): por favor ?
而匈牙利的xx(后面幾集來(lái)的,不記得他的名字了)(男)則說(shuō)Balchana?
面對這倆活寶Mr.Brown常常在重復問(wèn)題好多遍后一臉無(wú)奈的說(shuō):Oh! Never Mind!

(寂靜...Ali和Jamila一臉震驚)
Ali: Oh no,you are making a mistake.
Mr.Brown: A mistake?
Ali: Yes please. You are not brown,we are brown(指向自己和旁邊的Jamila), you are white!
Mr.Brown: .....
(眾人坐好,Juan進(jìn))
Juan: $%%^%$&&***%$$##..(西班牙語(yǔ))
Mr.Brown：Yes?
Juan: %%^&&*^%^&*/...
Mr.Brown: I don't understand what you are saying but i'm sure that you are not looking for a middle work class.
Juan: Por favor?
Mr.Brown: Doesn't matter. Have a sit.
Juan: Por favor?
Mr.Brown: (指著(zhù)自己的凳子坐手勢) Sit down.
Juan：Ah!(坐在了Mr.Brown的凳子上)
Mr.Brown: ehh...not there!
Juan: Por favor?
Mr.Brown: (指著(zhù)學(xué)生席)There!
